Visited the bakery twice on the way south and then on the way home. It is certainly busy. We had pies first stop and then bacon and egg rolls second time. Very basic bakery food to fill the tummy when everywhere else is closed.

Certain old school charm about Batesy’s. We grabbed a couple of bacon, egg, hashbrown and cheese burgers. Great that it was not super greasy and it was an English muffin for the bread. Also grabbed a few bacon and cheese rolls which were very tasty. Lots of other treats in the display cabinet which we didn’t attempt. Staff were very helpful and friendly
