First time trying today. Roll is a decent size, flavour of the pork and the sauces are good. Just missing out on the crackle. Didn’t really have any, maybe 3 bites worth and was a bit chewy instead of crunchy. So overall it was OK for me. Seems quite popular when I was there so that’s good.

Thought I’d give this place a go, but wishing I hadn’t. They have quite an few vegan options. Tried the salt and pepper tofu. Don’t be in a hurry. Waited almost half an hour before lunch rush. Two other people asked where their food was while I was waiting, thinking their order was forgotten. Tofu was overcooked, dry and bland. I think they forgot the salt and pepper! One piece I ate had a rancid taste like it was old. I think this menu item is an afterthought. I won’t be returning.

Surprisingly good. Was only after a quick meal before movie but this place has large serving and the charging chicken in the salad was amazing. Very juicy and full of wild flavours. Did not expect this level of quality. Will be back.

Gave it a try today. I didn’t like the food but doesn’t mean you won’t. I had tried the Daw Park and didn’t like that either and hadn’t connected the dots until read it on the bag holding the roll.

We were very pleased to see Bami open on a public holiday. Like most of these places it’s quite small and each table only caters for two people. The food arrived very quickly and was good except the meat that was tenderised to within an inch of its life and can’t really be chewed. It’s the same everywhere I should have ordered the chicken I don’t know why Asian restaurants serve beef it’s never good. Authentic Vietnamese music was playing and iff you closed your eyes you really felt like you were in Vietnam . I would go again but order pork or chicken instead. There’s spoons and it’s clean. It’s in the Mitchem shopping centre ( with access from the car park) so very convenient to get to. I would encourage people to give it a go.

Big fan of the restaurant at Daw park, Mitcham however has been a disappointment. The first week food was on par with Daw park however has slipped since.

Ordered VEGAN kway teow with tofu. They put egg in it so not really vegan right? Couldn’t be bothered complaining and waiting again. Not good enough. Staff have no sense of urgency either, lots of people waiting the couple times we went in. Paid with a $50 note and they tried to give us $12 change on a $28 order. Could be an oversight but given they cant take the order correctly who knows? Need to up the game dramatically.

Me and a mate got the grilled chicken in our bowl and bami. Next morning both had food poisoning.

Cracking pork banh mi was ba-meh. Stale, hard bun, hardly any coriander and no crackle on the pork. Average at best.

I work at Mitcham Square and today was my 3rd visit my first I had a combo roll but I found the meat pieces way to big and didn’t really enjoy it and have had better elsewhere, I’ve tried the noodle bowl which was delicious. Today I tried combo fried rice not what I was expecting yellow rice with frozen peas and carrots with egg meat was ok, service can be quiet slow and the store is always hot. Sadly I probably won’t be going back which is a shame as are lot of people at my work haven’t enjoyed there meals either.
