what a disappointment! table of 7, spent around $700. staff failed to communicate that we were purchasing food intended as a main for one when we were clearing ordering to share amongst ourselves. crazy expensive food for such a small serving – $30+ for one skewer of meat? really??

I really cannot bear it. Compared to the beautiful view here, the food can be called kind of ugly. The chef gets so much over himself. The pork is obviously over cooked and the inside part cannot be easily found to eat, however the chef insists on that it is cooked perfectly. OMG…… the manager told me that the chef thought it is perfect, so it has no problem.~

Food was a disappointment overall. We started with the grilled Tiger prawns and they were cut in half lengthways and grilled to death with the shell on. Extremely difficult trying to extract the shrivelled meat from the shell.. avoid. Restaurant was not that busy and our booking was early 5:45pm but for some reason our table for two was next to the only family there and it was jutting out into them main walkway of the restaurant. The staff were pleasant and service was fine but we found the menu very limited. The Pad Thai with Chicken was pretty ordinary and it was hard to tell the chicken from the egg in the dish. This was not up to the standards of a good suburban Thai Takeaway. The location, outlook, service and vibe were good though. With refinement of menu and food this place could be amazing.

By far the best restaurant on Hayman. Nasi Goreng, Chicken, Satay Skewers, Bao Buns, Thai Salad…everything was amazing. We ate here everyday on our stay. The cocktails were also a little too good, I quite enjoyed a few by the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and distant islands. The staff were so attentive and friendly.

Amazing Mango sushi with zesty Pan-Asian infused crispy fried whole reef fish, and a view to die for beside the Infinity Pool. OMG Wash it down with a Singapore sling cocktail Perfect

The best feature of Bam Bam is the magnificent view of the ocean. Unfortunately it is about the only feature worth mentioning. The food (dinner menu) is consistently not great, mediocre at best and sometimes just bad. Sort of your fish and chips eatery quality, priced at high end mark. Brace yourself for a corn cob at $15 a piece, a boiled cob that is.
