Ardalan is an experienced Persian Chef on the Gold Coast, he has immersed himself in the hospitality industry where he fine-tuned his specialty dishes in a local Persian restaurant. His love of Persian food from childhood and interest in blending ingredients from Iran inspired him to open his own restaurant right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. A labour of love, his creations feed the soul. You could say it’s soul food because it’s food that many Persians grew up eating at their family dinner table. The restaurant honours his late father and each dish is lovingly crafted with that home cooked feeling. We look forward to you joinin

What a fantastic experience. The amazing team catering for our family of 16. The service staff were polite, friendly and couldn’t help you enough. The food was delicious, especially the platters, well worth it. If you’re in surfers you need to call in and sample the food. We will definitely be back.

Used to be regular here when it was Shiraz, This is my first visit since it changed to Baba Joon under new owner. Did not disappoint at all!! Great quality food, very generous portion and all the meat was perfectly grilled. Service is very friendly. Will definitely be back. Only minor criticism I have is they are tad bit on the lower side on salt. Little more salt will bring more balance.
