Wonderful food, fantastic service. I go here a lot. Aust Viet is the only cafe I know where they will seat you, give you a drink and feed you snacks while you wait for your takeaway, all with a smile! As a result, Aus Viet feels very welcoming to me and I keep coming back.

Surprised to not see more people in here, but glad it means the wait time is super short! Some of the best customer service I’ve had in Hobart, super sweet family run business. Were extremely attentive to catering to my food intolerances, and can’t leave out that the food is really delicious, and fresh. Easily a return customer whenever I’m grabbing lunch in the CBD from hereon.

Best Vietnamese food in the town!!! No one can beat their legendary crackling pork! Love their pho, the fragrant broth is one of the kind. The restaurant is like a hidden gem in the city, will come back another time for sure.

Authentic Vietnamese spicy beef noodles (bun bo). They even accommodate my friend, who is vegan, by serving vegan spicy beef noodles. Pricing is higher compared to other restaurants so hopefully the staff here are being paid accordingly. Service was a bit slow today with tables not being cleaned even after we have settled in our table for a while. Spacious restaurant with semi-open kitchen, feels like a family-run restaurant.
