Has to be one of the worst chicken biryani served in Melbourne. I really wouldn’t call it a ‘biryani’, but more of chicken gravy mixed with rice …

Easily the worst experience in and around Melbourne- bland curry, burnt bread, stale rice. Bad customer service. Better options available in Rosebud for curries.

Very good customer service and the lady was so humble to us. Food needs to be upgraded in taste and I think it was our fault for not saying to make the food spicy but will do next time because I feel I had said that would be a great experience and if the restaurant sees this review can you please add less veggies in biryani because they dominate the taste of other spices and chicken

My family and I were wanting to place an order at this restaurant as friends of ours are regulars and rave about the place. I had called about 5 minutes ago and was trying to speak to the young lady on the phone, I was discussing with my husband what we wanted and the waitress on the phone had proceeded to say ‘hello are you going to place an order, in a very rude and smart way. How impatient! We were then hung up on. This is not what you call good customer service. I then called back and was handed over to 3 different people within that phone call. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this had just ruined my night.

Wanted to treat ourselves to a takeaway Indian meal, and support a local. The tandoori chicken was not only rock hard (overcooked) it was not freshly cooked chicken! .. old, inedible! The samosas were light and crunchy on the outside and a fairly soft but solid [unidentifiable] mass within. The lamb in the biryani was tender but there were large lumps of lamb fat, and not sure what was in the rice, but some strange tastes, so was not going to chance it. The garlic naan was a flat oily piece of flour wrapped in second-hand (previously used) silver foil. An expensive disappointment. Will try another local next time ….

This place used to be really good – good food, acceptable service, good menu, good prices. Tonight was awful! Service bad, fried food over cooked, waited forever for our main courses, then one never arrived, even though it was promised. We took friends who hadn’t been before. They won’t come back and I don’t think we will either.

What a pleasant find. Was going to a gig and decided to go here instead of having the food at the venue. Had butter chicken, lamb korma rice and garlic roti. Filled with flavour and tender. I should have bought another roti to scoop up the remaining sauce. So delicious. Staff so lovely and friendly. Reasonably priced. I will definitely come here again.

Second time we get take away from this place and both times we had succulent food. Plenty of spice and flavors, meat was tender..we had rogan josh, mixed vege curry, byriany rice, naan, mango lassie, all beautiful.

We love Indian and eat it fairly regularly and in honesty this is probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. The Butter Chicken tasted like tomato soup, and was just as runny, the naan was cold and rubbery, the samosas were burnt and blackened and the rice was dreadful. Honestly, save your money and go elsewhere.
