Lovely place. Only thing I got the Chicken Snitzel for a Senior and it was smaller than a child’s meal. $6 cheaper than a main meal but would have expected a bit bigger.

Great hotel, great service, my father and I have tried all hotels in and around Victor and we both agree the Anchorage hotel is our favorite. The staff are helpful and friendly and they do a lunch sized meal. I would recommend the Anchorage hotel to anyone. Oh and it’s child friendly

We had been to the Anchorage previously and enjoyed the food and service. However, the menu has been stripped to mass produced store bought quality at vastly inflated prices. I ordered the $24 Singapore noodle salad and was treated with a small bowl of boiled noodles 4 prawn chips, and an equivalent to a small woollies packet of premixed salad all with no dressing at all. My pint of pirate life turned into a midi of great northern.

I’ve always loved the Anchorage, it’s a lovely spot for a drink when in Victor. I went again a week ago after not being in a couple years though and the variety wasn’t as good as it used to be. They didn’t offer smoothies etc. anymore. Still offered an ice chocolate with cream and ice cream though! The building itself it just gorgeous!

While the food was a reasonable pub standard, the service was very poor for a booking and 3/4 empty pub by the time our food arrived. Appreciate the 40 mins heaps up wait at order, but having to prompt staff at 70 mins for our meals. Definitely a pub trading on it location, and probably not worth the visit currently.

Looking forward to a nice meal after not visiting the Anchorage for a few years but alas no. Bao buns were very average, bland, no Kewpie mayo and/or pink ginger to give some flavour, and no shallots even though it was in the ingredients. Instead got yellow coriander and limp bean sprouts. Hubby had the chicken fried burger, again average, described the burger as thin. What a pity
