Well.. A restaurant that still opened a bit late at Swansea area. Our savior so that we can still had proper dinner. LOL. Anyway, the staff’s friendly and the food was great. We ordered Aussie Pizza and Lamb Shank. Both were delicious. They offer liquors too if you want. Enjoy guys!

Stunning views of the water and delicious seafood. We shared the seafood basket which was delicious, the scallops and prawns were standouts. Great place to stop on the drive on the East Coast.

We stopped here whilst in the area during a road trip. Firstly the restaurant has weird timings and closes very early. Last orders are 7pmish. The decoration is terrible and just feels like the place has given up.

Great dine in lunch. Local Oysters and then a (big serve) of classic fish and chips with a great and very interesting salad that was a cut above the usual lettuce and tomato. Lovely views. Recommended.

Average taste, exorbitant prices. Probably the only restaurant open in the area, hence charging a lot more than required. At an average restaurant charging high prices, one expects fabulous flavours & generous portions. Unfortunately, at Saltshaker Restaurant Swansea, after paying $49.90 for a lamb rack dish (was undercooked with unrendered fat, had to send it back, was just ok once back, and the accompanying items on plate were quite underwhelming), $33.90 for chicken tikka masala (1 papad, 1 smallish naan, some rice & a bowl of minute shredded chicken in what seemed like bottled supermarket bought gravy), $32.90 for tandoori chicken (1 piece of slightly undercooked but edible chicken thigh, salad & chips), and $15.90 for bruschetta (2 pieces of sourdough- nice enough in taste), we walked away feeling unsatisfied. One thing they did well was presentation! Food looked good, but was over priced & underwhelming.

Despite some roadworks going on right outside the door, it’s clear that this is a special place. Overlooking the park and with a view of the sea, Saltshaker was a great place to stop after a few hours on the road. Service was helpful, flexible and polite at the counter and efficient at the table. The food and drinks were just what the doctor ordered – tasty and hot.

Our food was good. The restaurant was pretty packed. Many places were shut during the week, so make sure you book or might have to sit outside and be cold
