As mentioned by other reviews, this place has great vibe, nice decor, good music and friendly staff. Pasta was fair, not much flavor, even a bit cold and soggy (they might have prepared in advance given the high demand). I like the bread served on arrival! Warm and chewy!

We stumbled across this place because the other Italian restaurants in the city were booked out or closed on a Wednesday night mind you… so a quick Google search brought Amici up. Unfortunately it was not pasta night but pizza was available. My elderly mother was with me and let me tell you – Amici pizza saved me from an earful as we were hangry. To our delight the pizzas were delicious, fresh dough and toppings and the cheese omg.. safe to say we all left happy and I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town! 4 stars because the food service was quite slow and they forgot about my salad. But the floor staff were amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. Love to see it having worked at Italian & Sons back in the day. Floor staff were a vibe!!

Stopped in at Amici last night for the first time on our way to a show. We sat out under the awning, which was heated and beautifully decorated. We ordered a few wines and shared a chacutterie board between the two of us. We were able to choose 4 items for our board, and we were pleasantly surprised by how generous it was and how many extra items were added . Served with warm crusty bread. Brought back memories of Europe, and we will definitely be back again

Staying in Canberra a couple of days and decided to sit outdoors on a beautiful balmy Sunday evening as a lone diner. Service was reasonable but food disappointing. I ordered the beautiful jamon but served on an enormous bed of cheap potato crisps. Separate cheese platter with two large blocks of the same cheese (not served at room temp) a couple of pieces of dried fruit with peppers (?) served with a basket of water crackers! Had to ask for the bread which came later. The Aperol Spritz was the best though. This for $72!

The food here is amazing. The pizzas are great, especially the Prosciutto one. You have plenty options for vegetarian and vegan too. Plus, they have wide range if great cocktails. Sam’s service was chef’s kiss to it. Will visit again soon. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our spontaneous dinner for two here tonight. The bruschetta with figs and prosciutto was a great start, and the porchetta pizza was spot on. Lovely friendly service from the waitress who I’m sorry – we didn’t get the name of! But young, long hair, pony tail…very friendly . Will recommend

This place has great vibe for being on Northbourne Avenue, nicely done outdoor seating area, good music, nice shady area for a hot summers day. Bottomless carbonara was fair, big share plate, nice warmed bread on arrival-needed some butter. Service was good. Would go back for deli & drinks.
