Amara is probably one of the best places to eat in Sydney. The food is simply extraordinary, especially at dinner. The presentation is understatedly elegant, paying tribute to the surroundings and in harmony with the cosy atmosphere. Every time we come here the team has dreamt up some new combination of fresh, local produce and paired it with wonderful wines and the occasional Louis Roederer Champagne. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and careful to meet your dietary requirements.

This place is a whole experience my partner and I had the most incredible time for his birthday!! We were surprised being greeted at the door and having our car moved for us, then you’re constantly looked after the whole evening by an array of lovely staff – compliments to Ella and Brendan for their amazing service! The food was incredible and so well thought out with each dish comprising of multiple elements that went so well together. It’s in a gorgeous location with a beautiful look out to enjoy cocktails on the balcony and a telescope to enjoy the moon. Was such an awesome experience, can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

Sadly the worst meal i have ever had. Awful stale coleslaw and boiled carrots with a tiny piece of pork. 95.00 per head..have to be having you on!!!. NO OTHER FOOD CHOICES ON THE MENU. V expensive and not nice wine. For a birthday treat extremely disappointed. Absolutely could not recommend anything about this restaurant or the resort.

Amara was like a little piece of heaven. We were only there for lunch and wished we were staying at the resort. We had the 5 course lunch and they catered for the 2 vegans. The service was very friendly. After we left we felt as though we had been on holidays and can’t wait to return.

Such an amazing spot in the foothills of the mountains! Recently went here and 100% will be back. The food was amazing and every ingredient really did work together so well on the plate. I asked the somm for a couple of wine recommendations and she was so spot on! I would visit this place time and time again even if it was the same dishes. Amazing atmosphere and amazing food, highly recommend this place
