It was a very nice experience at this place when we passed through Bathurst on our way to Orange. The atmosphere is good, the staff are friendly. The pumpkin soup and seafood pasta that we ordered were delightful to eat.

The restaurant deserves 4.5 stars. We had dinner and the restaurant uses a set price menu for 2 or 3 courses. The selection is quite limited with about 5 selections for each course. (No bread in case you like that with dinner.)

My dearest friend and I were traveling through Bathurst recently and had a tremendous meal. The atmosphere at Cobblestone Lane is relaxed chic with super friendly staff. We both ate the Lamb main course, which turned out to be one of the best meat meals I’ve ever eaten, absolutely superb. We both also had the same deserts, Chocolate Mouse, which is one of my favorite deserts ever, and this version certainly did not disappoint. It turned out to be an absolutely delightful bowl of scrumptious desert that was runny soft and rich from the first spoon to the rapidly completed last spoonful. I don’t think anyone could be disappointed with this food at this restaurant. I never write reviews and am doing so this time because the food was so worth letting people know about.

The food overall was top notch, but more so I thought these guys know how to cook a steak really well. The texture of that outer crust was perfect, without compromising the meat at all.

We had a lovely birthday meal here tonight. it was great. I enjoyed the stuffed chicken and my partner said his lamb was perfect. He said he was very impressed! I’ve never heard him say that before.

We have a fantastic dinner here and enjoyed the squid and lamb, as well as sharing the mousse for dessert. Luke was our phenomenal serve who went above and beyond and made the evening even more enjoyable. Cannot recommend enough!

A lovely lunch spot in a historic building. We thought the building was cute hence decided to have lunch in one of the places. We had the pasta of the day special and chicken baguette, they’re both good, well made. The service was attentive and lovely. It was a fairly popular place with a nice view to the park opposite. Overall a great experience for us.

Not quite fine dining, more like a very upmarket form of casual, despite the white shirt wait staff. The food is a very contemporary modern australian style, and consistently excellent. My go to dish is usually the steak, as it’s always perfectly cooked to spec. Desserts are also a highlight. I usually drink beer, so I can’t comment specifically on the wine list, other than to say friends speak very highly of the selections available. Highly recommend it for a special dining experience.

We thought we would try a fine dining restauant tonight and was intrigued by a restaurant that was under european cuisine category in google yet its menu had a heavy lean towards asian. Firstly establishment was beautiful located within an old heritage building that was once a department store. It still has a well that is situated in the middle of the restaurant. So to the dishes. I had the Filipino style chichen adobo with wild rice while others had char siu pork belly as well as the baramundi dishes. All dishes work cooked to perfection. The flavour indicated hints of the original namkesake dishes but obviously the chef had their own take on the approach. The service was prompt and friendly but this is to be expected for a restaurant of this calibre. The place really started to fill up around 6.30 which along with smoke drifting from the open kitchen kind of gave the experience a more organic touch.
