We have always been regular customers at San churro where my husband always orders a Spanish latte. This is by far the worst Spanish latte he has ever had the consistency of the coffee was very dark there was hardly any condensed milk in the coffee very disappointing

Ordered a Cookie Monster Sundae, which suppose to come with cookies&cream gelato, mint choc chip cookies, …. and a cookie monster macaron. Instead got one with vanilla gelato, oreos, …. and an alternate macaron. Thought they mistook the order, but none of the other sundaes contained these items. Seems like they were giving me whatever they had available out back.

I was quite disappointed with the service received. Sat down at a table outside with my friends and we ordered at the table as to avoid queues. Myself, I ordered a one scoop mango sorbet in a cup. 20 minutes after ordering and I’m still waiting. 25 minutes and my friends had received their orders so I took my emailed receipt and went to the counter. It was then I was made aware that the ice cream machine wasn’t working. Why wasn’t I notified of this when I made the order….does it not pop up on the screen? Regardless I got a refund and I think the only part of that visit at San Churro that was good was the woman that gave me my refund. Otherwise it was a very disappointing visit. And something from a health and WHS side of things, don’t leave mop buckets and spray bottles with chemicals lying around where children can grab them. It’s a hazard and it’s dangerous.

I was very happy with my visit this afternoon. It was busy however was able to get a table. I didn’t manage to get her name, but the table waiter on tonight at around 5-5:30pm was under the pump. She was a beautiful young blonde woman. She was so polite and sweet. It upset me to hear the way other customers were talking to her though, (rudely) nagging her on when their food would be ready and replying “it’s about time” when it was served. Have some patience. I’m glad the waitress was able to bounce back with a smile, I’m sorry you have to put up with customers like that. Thanks for your amazing work, I will be visiting again.

This is a cosy clean, friendly but over priced dessert cafe. Everything is overly sweet so be sure to order small if you are not ready for a sugar overload.
