Service was excellent and my steak was amazing. Sadly that’s where it ends. Mash potato was a brown tastless goop. Chicken and veg soup was watery and bland. The zucchini balls were a stodgy unremarkable story. Other than the steak on its own it was an average pub feed with an expensive price tag.

Great food. Initial service was great but lost it in the crowd for dessert. Very noisy inside. If weather permits it’s quieter outside. Would go back. It is not really a seafood restaurant but that doesn’t diminish the quality and quantity of the meals on the menu.

65 Northbourne serves decent food but falls short in service. The menu has limited options but the dishes were well executed. The ambiance is pleasant but the staff could benefit from more training in terms of attentiveness and friendliness. Overall, it’s a decent dining experience but don’t expect anything exceptional.
