Ziner Taj, which used to be famous with name Blu Ginger Indian Restaurant was first established in Sydney in 2000, in the famous dining precinct of McMahons Point, and quickly expanded into Canberra and Castle Hill. Our talented chef, Mr Hari Prasad Sharma, has more than 28 years experience in the kitchens of major hotels in India, Japan and Australia, and draws upon the many culinary regions of India to create a truly modern and authentic menu, one that reflects the cosmopolitan India of today.

Very bad service staff that are unable to bring your food out together. The forgot our order and came back to say they were out of lamb. Also front door is left open so cold draft comes into dining room… Avoid this restaurant as the bad reviews here came true not once but twice.

Updated review (Jan2023) – recently visited there with the family and the food was once again fantastic. The staff is very friendly, we had asked for tava roti(not on the menu), and they honoured our request. The chef came out to see if food was ok, we spoke for a bit, he was great. Everything we ordered tasted excellent and presented beautifully.

They have the worst customer service as we did Uber eats and called the store to complain about the food but we heard the chef abusing us over the phone as it was on speaker. And when we head to the store to talk the manager and showed the food while he kept on saying he is not sorry about the situation and continued abusing us. We called the police and later had to leave the store. The manager was unable to take accountability for his staff and keep defending his actions telling us he can say whatever he wants. Worst experience and worst food I ever had.

Overall a good Indian restaurant with a nice vibe to it, pleasant staff, I actually enjoyed the Gulab sweets it’s rare for me to like Gulab. Desi Chicken is a good one. Slightly expensive here but nice place.
