Inspired by the Japanese manga One Piece, we’ve created some of the most adventurous burgers in Balwyn. Zero Mode was born out of a desire to create something dynamic and eclectic to transform the dining experience through day to night. We’ve got breakfast options including bacon, eggs, avocado toast, waffles. Lunch and dinner options include burgers, shakes, poke bowls, chicken bowls, vegetarian bowls, sushi sandwiches, karaage chicken, fries and a good selection of beverages. Staff seem very busy but are very quick with service which was appreciated. Food was delicious and filling and great strawberry cake dessert too! Went to try their special limited truffle sukiyaki bowl however they were sold out of this at mid-day. Their drinks are very cute. Small restaurant and bit noise due to being crowded. Make sure to book before you go. Sat on the balcony and it was a bit dusty but the food was worth it.

It’s an enjoyable location to hang out with a lively vibe. I enjoy the staff, the cuisine, and everything else about the place. The food is both good and comforting. The staff is pleasant. I adore this location and hope to return. We park our car at Box Hill Centre, and this is a short walk from there.

The Set Dinner Menu ($59ea) with Bottomless Drinks (+$20ea for 90 minutes) is absolute value for money with the quality of food we received. Everything was presented beautifully and was delicious.

Abit pricy for lunch but this place is always busy and hard to find a table. I will recommend their tea with rice. I love its unique flavor which you wont find it elsewhere in Melbourne.

This restaurant usually serves brunch in the morning and also operates in the evening. We tried their dinner menu and overall it was pretty good.

Had lunch and ordered a few items. Fusion style food (e.g. Waffle with fried chicken) that tasted good. Service was excellent.

Amazing place in Box Hill, worth a stop if you are planning a trip out east. We came here on our way to Dandenong Botanical Gardens. Atmosphere was good and service was excellent. The food was very good and probably is one of the better brunch spots in Melbourne
