An inner-city oasis serving quality, authentic Japanese cuisine. When you bite into fresh, properly prepared Japanese food, it tends to bite you back. And never really lets go. Once it has its teeth in you, you’ll often find yourself wondering when you’ll get your next fix of sashimi, sushi, katsu or ramen… You’ll find every dish prepared with the freshest produce, using traditional Japanese techniques. Our specialty soups and sauces are all made from basic ingredients in-house, our chicken, beef, salmon and vegetables are delivered fresh daily and we never, ever, use preservatives. Enjoy. The sushi is probably the freshest I’ve come across and definately the best this side of the city for sure. Don’t let the line fool you. It moves very quick. This is only a concern if you get there at peak lunch time. Service is quick and made to serve the masses. You can’t go wrong

Delightful and delicious Japanese food. Stopped in for some sushi, but decided to go with their Terayaki Tofu, and was so glad I did. The ‘small’ size was quite generous (see image), and came with some edmame and a little salad. They really nail this dish, going to be hard to avoid over doing it going forward. The tofu is cooked perfectly, with plenty of rich Terayaki sauce accompanying. Such was my enjoyment, that if anyone was watching, it would have appeared to them I had not eaten in days.

This place provides a proper salmon sushi with a perfect potion of salmon and rice. I think it’s a great place in terms of value and quality. One complaint is the low quality of wasabi. I added a whole chunk of wasabi but I can’t taste of wasabi at all.
