Located on the main street, this place holds a unique history to its building; started as a bank, transitioning to a fine Italian restaurant eventually. Place promises to offer a fine-dine experience with a great service. They have a seasonal menu which changes dynamically with the ingredients suitable to the season. One of the specialities is the hand-made pasta which is rare to find somewhere else. Prices are on the higher side accompanying a promising portion size though.

Our experience was not great. Forgot part of our order and was only able to give us 1 desert when we ordered 2, and it was burnt. Our waiter visited the table next us quite a few times (pretty girls), but not us once except to serve our food. We had to hail 2 waiters from another area to ask about our meal. The food to us was a bit bland, we both had pasta dishes. Not worth the money. The wine waiter though knew his business. The atmosphere of the place was good, and very modern decor. The chairs were comfortable.

A rustic Italian spot in the heart of Griffith. Got the ragu and the piadine for lunch to share between two people. The pasta was delicious, the beef super tender! The venue is also really spacious and bright, great atmosphere.

Amazing lunch. Popped in at 2.30pm for late lunch and had lovely friendly service and wasn’t made to feel like they were in a rush to kick me out despite closing at 3pm. The handmade pasta was perfectly toothsome and the ragu was perfectly balanced and generously proportioned. The accompanying local area Yarran Pinot Grigio was a fine sunny drop that matched beautifully. The follow up of a perfectly made macchiato and a generous plate of lemon scented crostoli makes me wish this was my Sydney local and I know I definitely will be coming back to Zecce again when I visit Griffith next. Worth it and then some. Also purchased some of their dry pasta to take home which I haven’t broken out yet but I am pretty sure will live up to expectations! Go there and enjoy real Italian flavours.

Fantastic place, amazing food and atmosphere. Staff friendly and very helpful. Was only open on weekends, but I would definitely go back next time in Griffith.

The food was amazing, the drinks also amazing but our waitress was not a lot of help. She couldn’t explain the menu or help me with choosing a meal to suit my dietary requirements.
