Quality Italian restaurant. Really enjoyed the spaghetti. Home-made and cooked simply with plenty of taste. Snack in a piece of which was nice. Must try place. Service was hard working and friendly. Enjoyable.

A stroll down a quaint alley in Merimbula lead us to a wonderful Italian experience with the ambience of being transported to a little Italian village with the aromas of garlic and herbs filling the air. The staff were very attentive to our requests. The food that was brought from the kitchen where it was told to us Mama was cooking from the heart was definitely full of flavour and textures to send the taste buds into overdrive. There is an option of sitting within the restaurant or outside in the alley, and given the night’s warmth it was perfect to be seated outside in the alley. This restaurant has not long been open and I highly recommend it as an option for dining in the area.

My uncle invited me to dinner here and it was an awesome experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and it was really well decorated. The food was great and the staff was very kind and talkative. Even off season the restaurant was full of people which gave it a very cozy vibe. Defined worth a try when visiting Merimbula.

Wow – what a great meal, in an authentic and friendly place. I had the beef cheek gnocchi which was rich in flavour with soft and velvety gnocchi. Strongly recommend booking as the place was full. I just txt the number on the website which was responded to out of hours.

Driven from Melbourne (6.5) hrs.. My wife had the Gnocchi and I had the freshest crumbed sardines, both specials. We have travelled the world a number of times, but never had Potato Gnocchi like this. It was outstanding.

Well this was an absolute gem in Merimbula! We had messaged the owner to book a table that night, knowing our chances were slim to none as we had heard they were extremely busy and always booked out… but Janine was amazing and squeezed us in. When we arrived, the staff were so lovely, very professional but genuinely friendly and nothing was any trouble. Between us we had ordered the garlic and cheese focaccia, chicken and chips kids meal, prawn tagliatelle, rigatoni lamb ragu, sticky date pudding and the choc hazelnut torte and everything was absolutely amazing! Between the atmosphere, staff, food and music, we were instantly transported right back to Italy. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will certainly be back next time we are in town.
