Very friendly staff with good service. Food was ok, but not really high standard Japanese cuisine. Tempura combination was mainly vegetable with one or two prawns. Beef was tender, but a little bit too sweet. Good beer.

It was a nice looking place. Japanese chefs working on sushi/sashimi in the middle of the restaurant with nice display around and a good view of the town clouded in forest. Sashimi came out and it was the biggest slices I’ve ever seen! I mean the biggest pieces were like 2cm thick! I recommend having smaller pieces to enjoy. To add, the sashimi didn’t taste that fresh sadly and fishier than most places. The tempura combination was alright.

Premium ingredients, excellent presentation and professional waitstaff in a beautiful location in SA. Must try when in Aldgate or within the area or just drive up the hills and you won’t regret.

Takoyaki was so flavourful and creamy! The tempura soft shell crab was crispy and seasoned lightly. The sashimi and sushi were so delicious and tasted fresh. It is pretty pricey here in this restaurant but at least, it tasted great. I highly recommend the sashimi set and takoyaki if you’re planning to go there 🙂
