An absolute 10/10 experience. We didnt have a reservation on a busy Saturday night but they were so incredibly accommodating and we sat at the bar which we actually really enjoyed! We got to watch all the drinks being made.

We went to this restaurant two weeks ago. We spent a good time there to have our dinner. It’s not busy that day, and all people are nice and services are good.

Simply incredible and authentic Japanese restaurant. Serve good quality of food and draft beers. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, nice dining ambient especially for bar counter, you get to see the skewers being prepared. Awesome music, great location, definitely come back again.

Great location in the heart of China Town on Dixon Street and is located on level one with great views. The restaurant will open up the indoor balcony whereby you can see the bustling street below.

Considering all the other Japanese bars in the CBD are over priced and just lacking in quality. Yebisu is a breath of fresh air.

Expensive and the quality of food did not match the price. This beef skewer cost $10 for one. The wagyu bento set was salty, couldn’t even finish. And on Sunday, there will be another 10% surcharges paying with card.

It’s a nice looking restaurant. The food is OK. It’s not the best and not the worst. The tables are crowded and when it gets busy it’s not the most comfiest place to be. It’s billed as am upper end restaurant and the prices reflect that, and the quaint portions. We do consider ourselves familiar with Japanese food, and having been to various restaurants around Sydney and elsewhere I think we can be good judges of quality. The food here doesn’t really reach the quality expected from the price and decorations. Frankly we ordered a bit of everything and there was nothing we wanted a second serving of, even the kids were like nah. I guess Bruce Lee selling Japanese food should have been a clue. Apart from the pain of the price, it was an OK different experience I guess.

Faultless Japanese dining experience. We tried the sashimi, eel and chicken giblet skewers (perfectly cooked) and the clam udon. Everything was delicious.
