I thought that the food here was pretty good. Especially liked the beef/prawn, fried dough and the duck. We also ordered century egg porridge which I thought was quite pleasant as well. Overall recommend and would want to come back here, they open relatively early so it was a good breakfast to have

Been here many times and it always delivers. The rice noodle rolls are made fresh and have a thin, silky texture. They’re hard to fill up on so also get some congee (huge serves and will not disappoint). It’s often busy here during peak times so there may be wait for a table.

First time here, Overall food are just average, their rice noodle rolls are very ordinary, we had much better ones elsewhere. Curry fish ball quite soft but curry sauce very bland and hardly any sauce in the bowl. Fried bread stick very ordinary too so is the tofu pudding with ginger sauce. Pork century egg congee however are quite good and smooth. Price for every single dish are on the high side.

Ordered pork congee with preserved egg. The preserved egg taste off, it went sour. Fish ball was a rip off – $6.8 for 5. The prawn and beef rice noodle roll taste ok. Paid $20 per person but still hungry afterwards and I was not a big eater.

Legit congee and rice noodle rolls but quite pricy for the product. Basically selling street food at a restaurant price.

Super authentic Cantonese restaurant. Local favourite for sure. Special dishes here you can’t find anywhere else.

I enjoy going to this restaurant because I like Hong Kong street food.

The prawn rice noodle was so good and fresh lemon ice tea, what a combo. All this cost under $30 – congee, noodle, fried bread and drink. Unfortunately, sticky rice sold out in the morning.

Yat tiu rice noodle rolls serves HK cafe/yum cha style cuisine. The food we ordered was a bit of a hit and miss. There’s a lack of consistency between the standards for each dish. Prices were on the higher end compared to other local yum cha spots in Sunnybank. Customer service was alright depending who served you. The Chinese guy with short hair who served us seemed impatient, similar customer service to what you’d expect in HK cafe I suppose. The curry fish balls were bit expensive, 5 for $5.8. taste was average. The fried bread sticks, tofu pudding, toast duck rice noodles and pork congee with preserved eggs were the highlights and worth trying. The sticky rice wrap didn’t seem that fresh and maybe under cooked because the rice was stuck to the leaf. The plain rice noodles with sauce was the most disappointing, it wasn’t fresh and you when you bit into it, some pieces were hard and dry and some were soft.

Reasonably good basic Cantonese breakfast cuisine. Price adds up quickly when exploring options. Be prepared to spend about $20 per head.
