Very nice twist on traditional japanese food. Food is fresh, well presented, and very high quality. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere but is quite small so make sure you book.

I had a fantastic lunch. The lunch special was extremely tasty, and we also got some vege tempura on the side. Very authentic and sophisticated Japanese food. It is rare to find Japanese food at this standard, on the Central Coast.

We had a Sunday dinner here, ordering Pork Gyoza, Karaage & Deep Fired Soft Shell Crab. The Pork Gyoza fine, the Karaage was a bit of a disappointment and also the pieces were quite large for a karaage and the soft shell crab was a disappointment as I didn’t think it was as fresh as it could be. One suggestion is to get some helpful tips on combinations to balance the favours.

I agree with the more recent reviews. Between the two of us we spent $80 for 5 dishes and we were still hungry. They forgot our salmon nigiri but we were so disappointed with their small, sorry, tiny portions brought out to us, we told them to forget about it. I have never been so disappointed with a Japanese restaurant and we will never return.
