Was packed but I think that speaks to the quality of the food. We had pack for 2 and couldn’t fault it. Flake was so fresh and melted in my mouth. Chips, potato cake and dimmy were all crispy and cooked bloody well. Best fish and chips I’ve had for quite some time..

From the moment we walked into the store we were concerned. It’s half a fish and chip store half a souvenir store. The back of the stores shelves are filled with tacky cheap merchandise. Think of a $2 shop that sells fish and chips. Strange! The have a lucky dip box with wrapped presents for $1 and tables filled with dehydrated fish for pet treats. It’s a vibe, and not a good one. We ordered 2 flake, fish, chips and a seafood stick. The batter is not right, it has a weird taste an texture. The chips are small, pale and not worth eating. Seafood stick was covered in the weirdly textured batter, also not worth eating. There is a sign asking for spare lemons from the public, just more insanity from the already strange store. I feel that they are trading on the basis of being a best Australian fish and chip finalist for 2019 and 2021. But, the reality is, the quality of their fish and chips is nowhere near that standard. Also to the owner who I already know will write a wildly inappropriate response. I don’t care. I think your fish and chips are gross. Period.

Pretty underwhelming – fish quality was definitely fresh but I just got one piece of fish and a heap of flavorless chips. The extra stuff in my pic is calamari I paid for which was fine. Sauce cost extra – not sure if I’d be that excited to return but it’s ok

Magnificent meal of battered flathead tails and chips. Reminded me of mum’s cooking 50 years ago when we would catch our own and cook straight away. The batter was perfect and crispy, as were the chips – the fish was juicy and flavoursome. Very pleasant surprise meal.

Great fish and chips! We loved the light crunchy batter! I would definitely go back and highly recommend it for a casual fish and chips. We ate across the road overlooking the water and a stunning sunset. This venue is shutting for three months for a well deserved holiday. Luckily we had our meal before they shut up.

Batter was light and crisp and perfectly salted. Best tasting scallops I’ve ever had for T/A fish n chips. Good value for money in serving sizes and fast friendly service.

Personally think this is the best fish n chips here, though the prawn could’ve been better.

Nice and well cooked seafood. Unfortunately, everything was extremely salty. Way too much salt. Will be back, but tell them no salt.
