It’s so good to come across a fish n chip shop that their chips and potato scollops are made of real potato. That’s right folks most of the hot chips you buy are made on flour and not many people are aware of this. We stop here every time we visit the area. The fish and calamari was also delicious. Thank you team for taking the time to cutting the potatoes, it certainly is appreciated.

One of the best fish and chips shops I have been to in Australia! I normally can’t eat more than half because it is too heavy, but these were so good and light, I almost wished there was more! Portions are generous and price is ok. Something to bear in mind is that they stop taking orders around 15 minutes before closing times, we got there at 1:40 pm and managed to get our food, but we saw at least 10 people who were turned away after us. (Shop was officially closing at two).

It’s a clean, humble hole in the wall fish and chip shop. I ordered a Mahi Mahi and chips. As I placed my order with the lovely woman at the register, the gentleman on the fryer jumped to the front counter and professed his love for the Mahi Mahi. His love wasn’t misplaced. Beautiful juicy fish, lightly battered and accompanied with perfectly cooked hand cut chips. You can tell when someone loves what they do. This mobs all over it.

We drove all the way from Coffs Harbour to try it out. But it’s not even open. The website and its Facebook page said it opens at 5:30. We waited till 5:50 but no one’s there. Should really update this kind of information.
