Situated on the whale bay marina, I was sitting in the outside section over looking the water,this Chinese restaurant is not to bad, the Singapore noodles where pretty nice. Was just a little to oily, and needed a little bit more protein. Flavour was nice I ordered mine spicy! Would definitely go there again. Was about 20dollars for lunch special 🙂

Whale Bay Asian Cuisine offers a mix of Asian foods with an extensive menu. We shared the Mongolian lamb, fried rice, dim sims, Peking duck pancakes, silver fish, Net rolls. The restaurant is fully licensed, beers, wines and cocktails. They’re well staffed providing prompt friendly service but they don’t provide complimentary soya or chilli sauce on tables and we were charged extra for a side of chilli sauce

This waterfront restaurant has the largest variety of food from several Asian countries we’ve seen in any one place. Something for everyone. They had tables for 2 and tables for 10. The winner dish has to be the Peking duck pancakes, so fresh and flavoursome! no wonder the place was packed every time. We went back a couple of times to try Thai and Indonesian dishes. The service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. We always found a table even if we didn’t reserve. Overall a good experience.

Booked a table at Whale Bay Asian Cuisine for a special dinner with Family. Was ushered to a table that was on a massive slant (only table with a slant in the restaurant) and plenty of other tables available. Each table had a large lazy susan in the centre, and we had to be really careful as the drinks and plates kept sliding when we turned it because of the slant. Table service was terrible. Staff didn’t have any knowledge of food or wines. Asked questions about the food in regards to spiciness but they didnt know and didnt go and ask. Ordered a bottle of wine from their menu and 10 minutes later was told they didn’t have it. Ordered another and again was told they didn’t have it and the excuse was they don’t sell too many top shelf wines? We were just ordering off the menu! Table wasn’t cleared. We had to ask if they could remove plates and glasses and had to go up to the bar to ask if someone could come and take some more food and drink orders and again had to ask to have the dinner plates cleared before the desserts came out.

The meals were very tasty and a good size. My only criticism is that the front counter/reservations desk was very badly organized and probably in the wrong position. With all the takeaway orders and and customers waiting to be seated and customers wanting to pay their account….. I saw many customers dissatisfied.
