Had a very pleasant dining experience here. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive and the food was yummy. We liked the calamari; the calamari pieces were soft and flavourful, even the side salad was delish ! The waffles we ordered were served with a very interesting creamy sauce that we continued to enjoy even after we have finished the waffles ! Would have given 5 stars if not for the focassia which we felt was a tad too hard and therefore difficult to cut or chew off.

Absolutely awesome staff. We were offered a table in spite of not having a reservation during the busy early morning rush. Breakfast was really good after the short but high intensity 10km walk. Loved the coffee too

Lovely atmosphere. A big thank you to the friendly accommodating staff who were very helpful with our group which included 2 wheelchairs. And the food was great too! We had super salad, calamari and cheese burger and were very happy.

We came on a Friday around noon. It was fairly busy. The service was friendly and efficient. The tables outside on the back varandah are the best tables, looking out to bushland down to the river. The food came out in reasonable time, & the quality was excellent. The loose leaf Chai was lovely. The prices reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. All in all highly recommended.

We were a party of 5, and 3 of us became sick shortly after eating. I rang to let them know and the manager was dismissive and didn’t offer an apology. Such a shame because the place had a lovely vibe and the waitstaff had been very friendly and attentive.

Stonehouse Cafe is conveniently located in Warrandyte slightly out of the hustle and bustle. It has a wonderful menu with lots to choose from and the Coffee is on point. I go weekly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with great staff always happy to accommodate my 2 young children. A great family run local business, always enjoy my experience there. I can’t recommend Stonehouse more highly
