At Verona we pride ourselves on using fresh locally produced ingredients to bring our customers authentic and delicious Italian dishes. In pride of place in our open plan restaurant is the wood fired pizza oven that was imported from Verona, Italy. Open from 10am serving Gioconda coffee, pastries and cakes, through to late, there is something on offer at all times of day. Our lunch and evening menus consist of A-La-Carte meals prepared by our excellent chefs as well as wood fired pizzas. Veronas wine bar not only services the restaurant with local craft beers and Tasmanian wines but also offers an intimate space to connect with friends and work colleagues while you enjoy live music on the weekends.

The waitresses were fantastic. The restaurant was busy and atmosphere set by a duo singing and playing guitar. The food was for the most part very good but price per serving was a little high. The instance of small artistically presented food as opposed to a hearty meal. The oysters kilpatrick were amazing.

There are live performances on Saturday and the singing atmosphere is great! I’ve been here many times! Yummy pizza! Mulled wine is very intoxicating to me. So the price is relatively more expensive than the average restaurant! But it’s perfectly fair.

I came here for lunch. I have been there before and had a good meal,however the food now is no where like it use to be. I had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni. It was full of basil and herbs that over powered it. The tomato sauce was super sweet! This restaurant needs to go back to its original ways 🙁 I had a coffee to finish and that was the high light of the meal.

Verona Devonport was a last-minute decision to dine in but ended up been an excellent choice. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the tables are well placed. The menu has a good variety on offer in both food and drinks our entrees and main meals were scrumptious and of good portions all delivered and prepared to perfection, service from the lovely staff was excellent courteous and friendly. We will most definitely return prior to departing on the SOT back home at a later date. It is very highly recommended.

Five stars all round for this gorgeous restaurant! My husband and I love this restaurant so much we had our wedding reception here. The food is excellent, the coffee is excellent and we love the staff. It is a warm, friendly environment, both classy and relaxed. I should photograph the food next time we are there.

Food is to die for! Absolutely delicious and fairly priced for the effort and flavour that goes into each meal. I cannot recommend a restaurant better in Devonport. Cocktails were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 Would recommend to other people.
