WOW! What a great little addition to Coolangatta! Went for a Saturday sunset happy hour ($10 cocktails from 4-6pm) and it was a super friendly/fun vibe. Beautiful view of the beach and great drinks! Went back for breakfast the next day and was equally impressed. Amazing variety on the menu and great prices!

I bought two coffees here, two days in a row. The first day was a Sunday morning & so busy that people were waiting for a seat. Good service and the coffee was strong & good value. Couldn’t see any good vegan options on the menu so I didn’t order a meal. The second visit was on Monday, the following day. Quiet as can be. Same friendly service, same order, but weak & watery. One day good, the next day bad. Three neutral stars seems fair. If you get some more vegan options, and get rid of those $4 hash browns then I may revisit this review.

The Acai bowl at Vanilla Lilly is so good you’d think they snuck back into the garden of Eden, grabbed all the goodies, and put them in a bowl big enough to keep you not hungry for lunch. A wonderful find. Food was fantastic, coffee was well made (lots of places can’t make it well in lactose free milk) and the service team was great and the food came quickly. Nice food options for a friend with dietary needs. We had the French toast, poached eggs, both with bacon as a side, and the corn filters. Very much recommend.

Nice soft casual tunes, pleasant service from the girls at the caffe, ample seating there and open early for anyone about in the morning, big coffee’s with a sugar substitute if you’re conscious of your weight. Nice view as well.
