I’ve ordered a few times through menulog the food is really good . I went in to the shop for the first time today and ordered food $45 the cost I checked my account after and it was over $50 I had paid cash no surcharges obviously but card and get hit big time I definitely won’t be going back or ordering from them again that’s a pretty good ripoff that one nothing Sus at all

Never thought I’d leave a 5 star review for a take away sushi restaurant. But this was actually so fresh, great quality and the sushi hand rolls were FULL of the good stuff, not just rice.

Their lunchboxes only cost $10! And it was delicious!! I got teriyaki chicken with rice. They put a lot of sliced carrots, onions and capsicums in it so it feels pretty healthy ❤️ it comes with nice fresh steamed rice. Chicken was nice and tasty. Its tender and not dry at all. And it was quick.

I got 4 sushi rolls, 2 chicken & 2 tuna rolls & they smelt overwhelmingly like fish. Which to be fair, I know its sushi, however my sushi never smells like that. The rolls were clearly a few days old. The seaweed Was falling open & felt super dry. The rice was sticky & way too much of it. The avacado was turning brown. I couldn’t even eat the crispy chicken because it was so dry & old. They also don’t serve with a smile & overall will never have this again. So disappointing & tasted terrible.

I eat from here pretty regularly because it’s easy and close to work, in the last week I’ve gotten sushi from here 4 times and every single time I’ve ended up sick. Intense stomach pains and diarrhoea… Won’t be eating here again.

I always grab some sushi and california rolls from Tokyo Express, at least twice a week, best in the North of Melbourne. The hot dishes or lunch specials are a treat for a friday/sat night treat, the Bento box, or fried rice, mongolian Beef, amazing fresh food delivered. closed on sundays, but can be very busy during lunch hours from local business patrons. The healthier option in Laurimar-Doreen shops than takeaways.

Tokyo Express is a good option to have in Laurimar when wanting take away but not the usual pizza, pasta, F&C. Good selection for quick sale otherwise rolls can be made to order. I’m only have the chicken/beef/seafood mix or vegetarian options so can’t speak to actual sushi options or quality.
