Grab your bowl & tongs & recommend selecting Malatang broth, with seafood selection of fresh fish, fish cakes, prawns, clams, lotus root, tofu, spinach, assortment of mushrooms, bamboo & two types of noodles – fresh taro & wheat. Take to counter to be weighed & pay for your selection. Mine came to around $32. You will be charged by the grams. So you could get a large bowl & share half each!

I’ve been here several times because the malatang hotpot is super yummy! I also tried the stir-fried style & it was tasty too (even though a bit too spicy to me) haha. Just a bit of unfortunate that they do not have table water for their customers.

Delicious authentic flavours. We had a late dinner and picked a dry hot pot and soup, schezuan broth. It’s legit and they don’t compromise on the flavour. You pick up a plastic bowl, pair of tongs then go along the side to put in whatever you want. After weighing and selecting the broth, they take it away and cut up the pieces and cook it for you. I accidentally picked too much and took take away a whole portion. For roughly $20-25 per head you can get a good bowl of food and a drink.

Great hotpot place! The malatang broth had a great depth of flavour to it and there’s a good selection of food to choose from to add to your order. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quickly considering there was a table of 6 in front of us. Will be coming back!
