The steak sandwich was very good, possibly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately, my partners meal was not as good – pumpkin was under cooked for her salad – but they were very understanding and quick to offer alternatives. the overall ambience was good.

What exceptional service we received on 6th September, from the young lady with dark brown hair. I wish I got her name, she was the highlight of our visit. It is rare to find such food service but she excelled. I took my mum to The Stage Door for her birthday lunch, along with my 5 children. We all ordered mains with a few entrees. The servings were huge. The kids loved the Wagyu burger, classic chicken parmi, fish and chips and their tailor made coke spiders. My mum really enjoyed the seafood crepe and lychee Martinis. I ordered the Portugese chicken and although slightly too spicy for me, the salad was amazing, chicken cooked perfectly and again the potion size was generous. Given the downward spiral of The Pen and Brewvino in both quality of food and service, The Stage Door has now taken first place for our restaurant of choice in Mandurah.

Wish I could give more stars, as the food was good, a large serving, especially the pork chop and was reasonably priced. But, we were there Saturday night (5/8/23), dining before the show at Manpac. We arrived at the time we booked – 5pm – but didn’t get served till 6.20pm. The place was fully booked and nearly everyone was getting restless and angry at having to wait such a long time. The show was due to start at 7pm. Several groups walked out in frustration. We would have loved to finish with a dessert but there wasn’t time. I believe they were short-staffed in the kitchen but no-one came out to explain or apologise for the delay. And surely Management should have had a Plan B for such circumstances? And finally, this was not the first time we have had to wait for our meal. But I think it will be the last for all four of us.

Ordered a takeaway from these guys. Our food arrived without delay and was lovely. Not a bad price and the staff were friendly. The location is great and the atmosphere was cool, so will eat in next time. Thanks guys

Booked for 5.30pm and arrived five mins early. Service was good and we were made to feel welcome. When booking said we had to leave to attend show next door, which started at 7pm. Wine selection ok. But despite ordering food early and explaining why we were, food didn’t arrive until about five mins before we had to leave, so can’t really say much about food quality or taste, having to rush to eat. At least we got our meal, at least three other tables nearby didn’t and those people just left! And then there was a queue to pay! Thankfully the guy at the bar saw our dilemma and let us pay there. Overall, not a good experience but not the fault of the friendly wait staff.
