Went for a Saturday morning brunch. Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic in every way, so tasty, fresh, impressive to look at and clearly very lovingly prepared. The menu is a good size with enough variety that it caters for pretty much everyone. The dishes (that we had) were uncomplicated but done to such a high standard that they really stood out. Coffee was excellent as well. These guys take a lot of pride in preparing absolutely delicious food and drink, we will definitely be back.

If you are ever near, even close by, to this cafe do yourself a favour and stop by. The coffee is great, the food is fantastic and staff are all friendly and attentive without being over the top. I just wish this cafe was closer to me so that could make it my local. I had the ham hock Benny, the dish was perfectly balanced and generous without being over the top. My friend had the mushrooms and he loved it.

Let my photos do the talking! I came here for breakfast and found it hard to choose what to have. I was served a cappuccino, perfect by the way, and finally rested my mind on corn and zucchini fritters with asparagus and poached eggs. Oh well, I thought, why not add haloumi? And so it happened. A wonderful surprise in the heart of Bairnsdale.

Must have been a bad morning in the kitchen when poached eggs come out hard boiled. I was really disappointed that for a $19 breakfast I could not enjoy it and wasted food in the process, or should I say paid for food that was not prepared right and palmed off rather than corrected in the kitchen. Staff didn’t ask if the meals were ok even though I had left half nor did they ask on paying. Pretty average
