Fantastic share plates, don’t go too hungry or it will cost a lot. Good for a drink and a light bite to eat in modern comfortable restaurant. Great staff who look after you, been with our newborn baby a few times and never a problem and they warmed a bottle for us.

We have been to this restaurant previously(twice) and have had great food and service. Unfortunately last night we took some friends with us and despite booking they seemed surprised to try to find us a table. Despite the restaurant not having many diners there early in the evening we were offered stools to sit on- we asked for chairs which after this request were able to be accommodated. We order some wine to have with dinner. After some time they came back to say that the bottle of wine we ordered was unable to be opened as they did not have a corkscrew – rather odd for licensed premises. The menu had changed with now only 3 options of mains on the menu – beef, chicken or fish. The final straw was that after we had placed our food orders they came back to inform us that there was no steak available. At 7 pm on a Saturday night who doesn’t have their main meals options available? We left the restaurant and went to the local hotel – at least they could provide chairs, wine, great menu options and great food.

The service was great, although it was quiet. We had a few small plates and a couple of desserts. Everything was very nice. The chef knows his stuff. I would recommend The Sset to anyone. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Exceptional food. Nothing was too much trouble.I had specific dietry requests which were no problem at all.Fantastic service by our waiter . Beautifully presented plates. will be returning. Was a great Fathers Day dinner.
