Had an awesome lunch at The Pickled Herring. The restaurant was clean, the service was quick and the server was very polite. The salt and pepper squid was absolutely delicious, very tender and came with chips and a salad. The garlic bread and arancini balls were tasty. The butter chicken had a bit too much tomato in it for my liking but it was still very palatable and tasty and the battered fish and chips were really good. The serving sizes were very generous. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning.

The 1st time we patronage and found the foods we ordered today Sunday were all fantastic in taste. Prices were very reasonable and portion were large , the staffs were very friendly and services were excellent. Oh, the flat white coffee was very good as well the home-made jam. Will certainly visit again next time if driving thru Yanchep/ Two Rocks. The Indian Ocean with marina view outside was too good to mention here

Oh I visited this excellent place yesterday and I can say the food was amazing. The staff were friendly and we’re happy to offer us specials the panko prawns were omg and onion rings were the best Ive eaten and my hubby thoroughly enjoyed his chicken parmigiana. I would recommend this place. We live in Armadale and it was a long drive to this gem

We had to what for quiet awhile before the food to come out and it was 1 at a time, with quiet a few minutes in-between, when they brought the chicken brigani out, it look terrible by they way it was whacked on the plate, it yest wasn’t a great experience considering there were not to many people in the place

I wished I had read the recent reviews before coming back. What a difference a year makes. This restaurant is no where near what I remembered it to be. Came again for my dad’s birthday. The barramundi was soggy, skin not crispy. The chicken parmi was covered in a soggy crumb coating and the scotch fillet was grisly and raw in places, not the medium rare I requested. Each plate was half covered with chips that tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The bench seats could do with recovering too. The place is just tired now with a cook (they are no chef) who’s food is mediocre. So disappointed and will not come back.
