On arrival we were warmly greeted by the host, Achala and her assistant, Diana. We had the 7 Dish Contemporary Thai Dinner with drinks. All the dishes were authentically delicious and flavourful. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Certainly an amazing dining experience.

Such a great combo of flavours – their Winter menu is so cosy and a perfect spot for some hearty Thai food. We aren’t big spice eaters but everything was super warm and flavoursome, a good level of spice. The soft shell crab is super crispy. The drinks are also quite refreshing and good balance.

For any family dinner, Piano Thai is always our first preference. Been there few times and every time came back with full satisfaction. The food is so fresh and quality is on the top in the town. I don’t miss my Thai food anymore after we discover this Restaurant. Friendly, caring staffs and Owner was also on the floor to look after every guest. Very friendly and exceptional environment. The biggest advantage they have 50+ Free car Parking at the rear of the restaurant. So never had Parking issue even though the Restaurant is just next to the Melbourne Cricket Ground. We will come back every time we want to have Thai Food.

Food was great. However service was really poor, only one waitress for the whole restaurant. Had to repeat my order 3 times to her. I think she was overwhelmed, serving all the customers alone. Tried to order cocktails however it took her over half an hour to make them. She suggested to order something else, so we ordered a bottle of wine, which was served unopened. Mains were served first with no rice, I asked where is the rice so I can eat my main? She responded its a side dish it comes later. We were then told at 9pm they are closing and we need to leave. We had only finished half the bottle of wine, we had to drink it rushed. Never eating here again! Go down the road to Smile Thai and Lady Boy much lower prices and better service!

I tried the Red Curry Duck, it was too much spicy for my taste, good flavour, however the duck was over cooked and hard to chew. I had the Thai spiced pudding as dessert; not worth the $24 they charged for it.

Louis & George – the most recent reviews were probably the ones responsible for their closure. I’ve eaten here before as in (TakeAway) – Twice and I enjoyed the food. George stated the Food was Great! but had issues with other things – but only have a 1 star? Maybe they were already struggling, so they could only afford one waitress?
