Absolutely loved the Devonshire Tea and scones I had here. Wonderful service, the waitress explained the different teas to me and suggested multiple based off my tastes (try the rose floral tea), Wonderful atmosphere, not too busy, great prices and delicious fluffy scones. 5/5 stars definitely recommend you come here. They even have gluten free scones available with rich cream and raspberry jam

The tea selection is great (I adore the Christmas Tea) and having been here a million times, I’ve tried most of the menu over the years and have never been disappointed. Excellent for a quiet breakfast, lunch with friends, or a tea and cake pit stop during a day of shopping.

I have dined in at The Palace Tea Room a few times and love the atmosphere of the Queen Victoria Building. The staff in the cafe are always patient and friendly and the selection of food and beverages on the menu is good. My favourite thing to order is the high tea which costs $60 per person and includes your choice of tea, one scone with jam and cream, a selection of cakes and sandwiches. All of them are absolutely delicious.

Such a cute place with gorgeous tea pots and tea cups and saucers. Had the vegetable tart and a Earl Grey tea. It was delicious! Very busy place. You have to wait to be seated which was great. Very happy to accommodate a table for one.

Breakfast meal review. The meals were ok, but exactly the items noted, (see pictures)no dressings or garnish’s and plonked on the plate, no presentation. Gluten-free bread substitute ordered for one meal was on the side and was really glorified white cardboard. Coffee long black, no crema, dull coffee. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient.
