What an incredible restaurant! Had a Birthday dinner here with 16+ people and the staff were amazing – so friendly and efficient. Every dish was AMAZING and the portions were incredibly generous. We ended up with so much leftovers. The atmosphere is also lovely. Highly recommend

It’s so great to have authentic and delicious Filipino food in the heart of Newcastle! What a pleasant experience, the place had a cosy feel. Had a friendly and attentive waitress. Highly recommend the Pork Sinigang (not pictured because we ate it so quickly) and the Beef Kare Kare. We also found the Halo-Halo dessert so delicious!

Foods are very delicious! Beef karekare was so creamy, nutty and savory. The beef was really tender, flavorful and melts in your mouth. Pork sisig has a mixture of crispy and tender texture perfect with chili on it.

We’re very happy that the restaurant reopened just in time for my daughter’s birthday. Reservation was easy. Food were AMAZING! We always order the pork sinigang, pork sisig and crispy pata- they never disappoint! We also got the new additions to their menu which were the Filipino-style spaghetti and the pinakbet. Grabe, taste like home! Some of our guest are first-time diners there and they were impressed! The staff were also very welcoming, polite and professional. A must-try and a gem right in the heart of Newcastle!!!

We went for their lunch special, arriving shortly after 12.05. Having to wait to place our orders, we quickly chose. Continuing to sit whilst those around us received food, we had to ask for it to go at 12.43, as I only (!!!!) get 1 hour for lunch. I was hoping for a better experience and to share tastes with my friend, however I’ve been limited to one option now, at my desk. There was perhaps too many customers for the kitchen and 1 server. We won’t be rushing back with so many other options around.

Don’t do it! Never have I ever actually thought about refusing to pay for a meal until our meal here. We ordered pork and chive dumplings, which were ok. Obviously reheated in microwave with crispy edges, how do you get crispy edges with steamed dumpling????

Can’t say enough about this place, everything was incredible! We walked in without a reservation and we were lucky to grab a place in the front. The place was packed and a number of people that came in the front door unfortunately missed out as there were no more tables and couldn’t even do take away (says a lot about how good this place was!) despite the businesses the service was so professional and great! I was disappointed that the Lechon was all out and I reluctantly ordered the chicken curry, but man was I wrong! lol the food we ordered was unbelievable, so authentic but still so refined. Filo food can have very strong flavours thats why we love it, but this place captured that tradition taste and feel with such elegance and refinery of a top end restaurant. We ordered the chicken adobo, pork sinigang and chicken curry and garlic rice. It was soooooo goooood!! Amazing experience cant wait to go back!
