This was by far a better alternative to the other we tried. Great fish and chips. Had the fisherman’s basket which is great value. Very impressed. Only downside is the step to get into the store.

Clean, efficient staff, delicious fish and chips. There were two other families waiting with me who said this was the best fish and chip shop in Australia. One couple had driven from Ocean Grove and the other man was from Werribee.

Quite expensive and when ordering the person behind the counter tried up selling (even saying he was up selling), I had already spent nearly $80 and he asked if I wanted a bottle of drink to go with it, luckily I asked if it was included because I had spent so much and he said ‘no, just trying to up sell’. I was clearly a mum with four kids!!

We ordered the pack with fish, potato cakes, dim sims & chips plus a portion of calamari. We really rate the calamari, the crunchy batter enveloping the tender flesh. We ordered take away and enjoyed the meal in the nearby park. Service was quick & friendly.

This is the quality of fish and chips you should get from a shop near the beach. Absolutely delicious, and great service too. Coating on the fish is fluffy, potato cakes are soft and crunchy as well. Awesome.
