We had a great experience. Lunch before the theatre for 5. They were booked out in the Bistro but went out of their way to organise a table in the dining room for us and served us in there. We had 3 courses.

Nice warm fire. Very busy at lunchtime (during school holidays) staff were flat out meeting everyone’s needs. Food was great, and allergies catered for. The coffee is great! Cakes look nice but couldn’t fit one in!

Treated terribly because we had the audacious idea to clean a several tables and make one big one for our group. As a welcome we were told ” first of all you are not allowed to move furniture unless asking for her permission and then she told us we were not allowed to ordet food for 30 min and only 2 at the time. Needless to say that we finished our drinks and went to a much friendlier pub just down the road for our meal. She lost 15 customers for the rest of our lifes. Learn some manners !!!
