It’s a hidden gem in Rouse hill a beautiful setting great for your day parties baby showers etc.. we went there for brunch..and the food though it took longer than usual was worth the wait ..the burger was juicy the kebabs were moist and the bread was so fresh. On top of it was good coffee too. It offers great views ..good food and gentle music..overall a very pleasant experience .

To be honest, I would have given 5 starts if we didn’t wait for over an hour for the food with 2 kids complaining in the background – admittedly it was the day before Mother’s Day’s day, so it was extra busy, and the owner did give us all a free drink.

Was looking for a cozy reception place for my daughter’s baptism/ birthday which is close to our Church as well, The Local Shed have ticked the boxes! Heather (and husband) was prompt in all my inquiries, she have showed me different parts of the cafe that I can use for my event and options for food. We chose the boardroom so a bit secluded if kids will be loud. On the day, set up was nice and neat, they allowed my set up for balloons, staffs were friendly and accommodating, not to forget the chefs who always smile. My small guests were satisfied with the yummy food, coffee and tea. Will definitely come back for a hot meal and consider this place again for future events

Love this cafe. Friendly staff and great services. Could be my regular brunch place from now on. Easy parking around and not forgetting good food and coffee as well. Simply spent 7 hours just chat and coffee for today. Never tired of a quiet and tidy neighbourhood atmosphere.

We came here for brunch for my son’s birthday. Lovely hidden gem. Generous portions and friendly staff. We booked a table as there was 10 of us on a Sunday but we probably could have fit without booking in this particular day. Had a choice of inside or outside seating. Food was very tasty and place was clean. Also went for lunch a couple of weeks later and food absolutely delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at this cafe in a leafy area of Rouse Hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre area.

Had a great Birthday celebration at The Local Shed cafe a couple of weeks ago. There were six of us – we ALL enjoyed our meals – even catering for low-carb options (no-bun burger) for standard menu items. Staff were very friendly and attentive and they were happy for us to bring our own birthday cake. Lovely local gem!

Look I don’t like giving places bad reviews but this is more of a warning to others to get them to print your bill out and check it thoroughly. I’ve been here several times and the food and service has been pretty good but my last visit was disappointing. I went with a friend so we split our bill at the end. The bill was printed out and to my shock there was a charge of $9 extra on top of my meal for gluten free bread ( I’m an actual Coeliac). When I questioned, I’m pretty sure the owner, she said I don’t know how that happened as it’s only $2 extra and called the waitress over that served us to tell her that she made a mistake. Well the confusing bit was, why was that charge even an option to chose on the register? Also i don’t drink coffee so I’ll only ever order hot chocolate. Not sure about anyone else but hot chocolates are meant to be hot which most of the time they aren’t. So when I dine in I always ask for it to be extra hot and in a takeaway cup as it stays hotter longer. Well that was another sneaky charge an extra $1 for a take away cup. I’ve never had that before so I didn’t think to check the menu if it was even on there. It would have been nice if the waitstaff gave me the heads-up when they took my order as I would have had a dine in cup. I understand businesses are trying to recover from covid but I felt like they were being sneaky and dishonest and just trying to rip customers off. Makes me wonder all the other times I’ve gone there and been charged $9 extra for gluten free bread and just paid it. Won’t be going back, unless I’m invited by friends or family as their choice of cafe and if so I’ll always ask for a print out of the bill!!!

Been here for breakfast and tried their lunch menu the other day. So delicious and a decently sized meal. The chicken was still juicy and delicious – a bit hard to get off the skewer as it was completely stacked in chicken. Pity they don’t do dinner because the food is good.
