It’s our go to place when no dinner is cooked. Never encountered any untoward service from staff who are always lovely to accomodate us and will almost always give us the best seat near the fireplace. Good food and nice beverages options.

8:00 pm we were having a basketball break up with 25 people. We specifically booked the restaurant for the kids play room. From 30 metres away we were accosted by an elderly resident from the next door aged care facility, who said her and her friend had come for dinner and didn’t appreciate they noise from the play room. Said she appreciated we didn’t want to control our children. She wouldn’t leave our table and I had to ask for help. At which point the waitress said we should ask the children to be quiet for her. If you are going there for good food – think again. If you are going to go there because it’s good for children – reconsider. As the old lady complained about our noise, then walked into the pokies, we hope she managed to find the quiet she so craved
