Went there for the first time as a group of 9. Really impressed with the quality of the food. They came in good time & the standard is high. My mum’s Crispy Salmon Asian dish came nice and crispy. The Moroccan lamb was tasty and I enjoyed my platter. The portion was generous and the staff who served us was a really friendly guy. Will be coming back – recommended!

i love eating in the Groove Train Carousel. although the price is a little bit steep for an international student like me, joining the membership allows me to have 10% discount. the pictures attached are proof of how often i eat here, and i totally recommend the moroccan chicken and chicken parmigiana and also the spaghetti pescatore. service here is really nice too and the ambiance is great. if you do wanna come here during peak hours, just book a thru phone or website so that you dont have to wait to be seated.

If I could rate this restaurant zero stars I would. We had to wait 40 minutes for our meal- Had ordered poached eggs on sourdough toast. The toast was soggy and stale and had mold on it! The food is way too overpriced for the quality. The smoothie we ordered tasted extremely artificial and we couldn’t drink it. I would not recommend this restaurant. We will not be coming back here.

Lovely atmosphere, awesome tasty food, didn’t wait long for the food to come out..I ordered the grilled southern chicken burger, honestly the best I’ve had yet so far. My daughter ordered a pizza and that was delicious. Hats off to the chef’s The service from ALL the staff tonight was excellent, all very friendly and smiling . Early Saturday evening, the venue was half full. Staff were plentiful and laid back, polite and friendly, although it was evident that English was their second language. Communication was difficult at times.

On Thursday, all their pasta and risotto are $20. The food was tasty and well presented. I am happy to find that there are still restaurants that serve a decent size portion of food! Well done. Pasta was just slightly overcooked, but for the price, the generous portion and amount of ingredients you get, you can’t go wrong.

Went again for lunch today, place was very quiet. I had pulled pork burger and hubby had club sandwich. The pulled pork was very tender, pickle on top was very bland though. Good size burger, would have been even better if the bun was toasted.

We walked the 2nd floor of Carousel to find somewhere to eat. The Groove Train caught our eye because of the specials for breakfast. They have a big menu and have a bar. We both ordered a Chai and Hot Chocolate, 1 Flat White, 2 x Breakfast Burgers, 1 Pancakes which we shared as it was a huge stack! I thought $53 for all that was a bargin. The staff are fantastic and very attentive. I highly recommend you try them.
