Garden Bar is a beautiful restaurant with lovely views over the river. The menu is simple but brilliant. I had fish and chips, the fish was delicious and the batter had an English feel and was yummy. The home made tartar sauce was excellent. Very recommended

Superb. Nothing too adventurous but a classic menu, done very well, and well-judged to please the mixed clientele of locals enjoying a special lunch out, visitors to the valley, and lucky motorists. Creative and unusual above average desserts, and coffee worth sitting down for. If you’re thinking of stopping for a 45 minute break from a long drive through NSW, do so, but be prepared to accidentally while away a delightful couple of hours instead, enjoying the food and the view.

2nd time at this restaurant since moving north. The food is excellent, the service is the best. Such wonderful friendly staff. Certainly recommend visiting you won’t be disappointed. Had the BEST experience at The Garden Bar and Kitchen. We met with Megan to discuss having our wedding reception at this venue, she was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure our day was going to be perfect! She then provided us with a complementary lunch – which was absolutely delicious!! We are so so excited to have our Wedding reception at The Garden Bar. Such a beautiful place and lovely atmosphere.

Nice little spot to stop for lunch, not too far off the highway with ample parking. We stopped here on our way home from Sydney. Great food with tasty vegetarian options, a good atmosphere, and a nice view overlooking the river. Friendly staff, but we did have to wait a good 10 mins for a table to be cleared, which was a little annoying as we were in a hurry.
