A great spot if you’re taking a drive down the Mornington Peninsula. Our group had a variety of breakfasts – from the Big Breaking (full breakfast at only $25) to smashed avo on toast and waffles with berries. Excellent coffee, engaging staff and great location.

Stopped here for brunch and it was a lovely spot to sit in the sun. The owner and chef that were present were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast menu was broad and lots of vegetarian options. Our meals came out in good time and were classic breakfast dishes- I particularly liked the whipped feta component. Dishes were generous proportions and standard prices for breakfast in this area.

Really good big brekky here (although a nicer choice of bread for toast would bring it to the next level). Sadly, our group came back for dinner and felt disappointed by our meals. Cocktails tasted nice, but we felt the cocktails that were on special that night didn’t have much alcohol. Overall, I’d say 5 star brekky/brunch, and a 3 star dinner.

Female waitress was lovely and so helpful with ordering due to our dietary restrictions. Service was quick and food was fresh and of good quality. Great spot in rosebud, not too crowded and busy. Would recommend and return. 🙂

Wanted to spend the early afternoon in the sunshine, so went down to the foyer cafè for a lovely bowl of weekly special soup. Soups are different every week (as a winter special), this week was pumpkin soup; chefs special recipe, and it was very delightful, served with nice toasted bread. It was a lovely wintery vibe, staff and chef were very welcoming. They also make amazing coffee, so it is a great place to head down whilst on your way down the main street.

Amazing food with huge serving sizes too, rare to find a brunch place actually worth the price. Great service and the owner/manager showed particular attention to detail, quality and cleanliness, sending back a slightly dirty plate before it could be served which was nice to see

Nice cafe! 3.7 out of 5. The name comes about because the cafe was the foyer of an old picture theatre. It now leads through to a business at the back. we had coffees and the egg and bacon roll. We liked the cafe – coffee and food were both good, service ok too – and would happily return.

4 stars for the excellent service, super friendly vibe and extensive drinks list. The Foyer is in a great location, good people watching. Lost a star for the flat bread weird concoction. The ingredients looked great, and it should work, but somewhat missed the execution.
