Booked on a Saturday night not realising Saturdays in Adelaide CBD are dead and walk ins are fine. The food was perfect. Great range of gluten free foods and the service was fast. Fire place in the dining area kept it warm and the bar staff are hilarious. Stuck around a little longer because the DJ had a great eclectic selection of tunes playing. Worth the pop in if you’re in the area.

Directed to a table by a woman who didn’t move from behind the bar. Nobody brought us menus or offered water or drinks. Got up to fetch our own menus. When we saw “bangers and mash” for $30, couldn’t believe it. We came here not long ago and the prices were reasonable. A waiter finally came to our table, but we decided to leave. Had a lovely meal at Social Street S2 on Hutt St, where their prices are very reasonable for delicious food.

Decided to use the Experience Adelaide $30 QR Voucher. Walked in and it was quiet for 12.45. Sat in the back, large space that had the standard pub furniture. Clean and tidy. The waitstaff friendly, approachable and helpful. Food was great, steak sandwich and a deep fried squid dish. Came out hot, fresh tasting and would definitely return again because of the friendly service, good food and large space. Thanks Crown and Sceptre, we will return!
