Had a great lunch meal here today. Gorgeous deco inside, very clean and modern. Fish and chips was gorgeous and the pork chops also. Nice choice of Cider too. Only negative is the slow service as it took us about 40 mins to get our food after ordering.

We had the fish and chips and the gnocchi . Both very generous serves the price was $32 per meal with an unfortunate Saturday cover charge of $4 per order. The restaurant was very busy so I could not see the need for such a charge.

The ambience was everything. The food was alright. we have a few drinks and some snacks we spent nearly $90 on that. Extremely overpriced snacks, hopefully inflation doesn’t make this place more expensive.

We had the slow cooked roast lamb for 2 and it was amazing. Excellent value and the best lamb I have EVER had. The whole meal was delicious, especially the Yorkshire puddings. Staff remembered that we had noted on our booking that it was our anniversary and we were provided with complimentary glasses of sparkling – a lovely unexpected touch which was much appreciated. Wonderful personalised service. Chef Nevin your roast was just fabulous. Well done Team Conti!

The Conti has a prime location and a view of the ocean but unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. The service was inconsistent, and the food quality was disappointing. The chicken dish’s we ordered was overcooked, the burgers lacked flavor and to make matters worse, they ran out of gluten-free pizza bases, which was a major letdown for a member of our group with dietary restrictions. If you’re gluten intolerant there’s only two very basics options on a large menu. Moreover, the food came out sporadically for our table of 12 patrons, causing delays and frustration. While the scenery was great, I hope the restaurant can improve its service and food quality to match its prime location in the future.
