The food took a while to come out but it was nice. The staff are accommodating for bringing dog water bowls. It is a go up to the counter to order and then they bring it to the table unless you’ve ordered takeaway.

We’ve never eaten in The Coffee Club before as, to be honest, we find the menu quite expensive. However, after a stroll along the beach we saw they had a breakfast combo special. It was great! $9.90 for a delicious breakfast burger and small hot drink.

Hour wait for breakfast when not even busy. Asked where are food was and told 10 minutes (obviously not started). Asked for manager and got an eye roll from the child waitress. Got a refund and left. Worst place to eat on the coast. This was a second chance after a similar experience years ago. Never be back and will tell all friends and family to avoid this place.

Worst experience ever in an Australian restaurant so far. The nice lady that took our order was absolutely lovely, but after that it all went terribly wrong. We ordered (medium fried) eggs on toast, a burger and pancakes plus some drinks. The restaurant did not have many customers but it took forever to get the food to the table. It was delivered by a sloppy woman that couldn’t be more uninterested in what she was doing. The eggs were way overcooked and very dry. The pancakes were clearly not fresh and went in the microwave for way too long as the edges were rock hard. The burger was sort of ok but not tremendously good. We complained about the eggs and a bit later about the pancakes. The ‘manager’ was called and she was not amused but we were offered a new set of eggs. The same woman came delivering them 10 minutes later but without new toast so we complained again. The woman looked angry and shrug her shoulders with an attitude that was killing the mood. We complained again and demanded we get refunded for the bad food. We eventually got a refund but not after we were told that we should have been grateful that she made the order twice. Come on, this is not customer service people! Shame on you.

Had breakfast with friends this morning. Ordered the avocado on toast with dukkah as well as two kids rainbow pancakes. Kids pancakes were great. Avo on toast was potentially the most pathetic thing I have ever seen on a plate. Our group laughed as it looked like a kids meal. Rang afterwards to ask where I could provide more constructive feedback and the manager not only hung up on me he shouted. As we are visiting the area after moving away I checked with family who indicated that this is a consistent experience at this coffee club venue. Normally coffee club is really consistent but this location is problematic. Location and view from store is excellent.
