Daughter and myself had late lunch here today. I had steak sandwich which comes with chips. Chips were seasoned but quite dry but seemed freshly cooked and hot. Steak sandwich was nice but I added salt and pepper as I couldn’t taste any but it did have mustard which was okay. Daughter had a citrus tart which she said was okay. We ordered a coffee and a mocha Frappé which were tasty but not very icy which may have been because we saw them waiting up at counter for quite awhile which I presume was because they were waiting to be served with our food. Comfy and clean and was quite busy at around 2pm on a Tuesday. Service was okay.

The service was excellent. The cashier was very calm and receptive. The waiters were fast and well mannered. They kept the place organised without delays. There was not a single moment an empty table was seen left to be cleaned. They were spotless and timeless. However, the most important thing, the food, wasn’t really good. My toddler had a kid’s fried egg on toast and it was awful. The egg was way over cooked. Her hash brown was oily and warm (nothing like crispy). The bread was buttered, but clearly not enough as she didn’t touch it after first bite. She spat the piece of egg she ate ( probably too chewy?). I had a crispy chicken burger which was good. However, my chips were horrible. Super salty, oily soggy and soft.

Great coffee place to have a sip of coffee or other beverages especially when we have a membership card of “buy one get one free” offer. We have tried their Latte & Cuppaccino from different outlets, they were all very good. But this time, we went to the one in Karrinyup Centre, they were very busy, we were told to wait for 25 minutes and also 15% surcharge, we finally just walked away as we didn’t have time to wait.

I give 3 stars because all was excellent except Chocolate chip muffin. It was doughy…I let lady know and she said she will let Manager know. Not happy with feedback from Manager IF he/she got message. Hopefully they will change muffin.

We were served by such a lovely lady Hannah, her customer service was outstanding and she was one of the loveliest workers I’ve ever experienced. Hannah also had a lovely smile which made my mood brighten up, she is an amazing worker thank you Hannah!!

The Piccola had a slight flavour of chocolate, a bit sour and sweet. Good to go with a small cup of milk. That drink gave me a strong boost to shop again. Haha! cheers! (2021-12)

I’m always impressed by how good The Coffee Clubs are for a chain of fast food and coffee shops around the country. The poached eggs I had today were perfect for me, nice and gooey in the centre. Lots of fresh produce incorporated into the omelette, and poached eggs on sourdough today at Karringyup. Their menu is always changing and usually tries to incorporate the latest food trends. The coffee is usually good, not perfect but not terrible. Bearing in mind it is a franchise they do a good job, certainly a step above a Maccers coffee!
