Catching the free ferry across the river and then the short walk to this unassuming riverside shed turned out to be the highlight of our 3-day trip to Brisbane. With trumpet player, Dan Quigley, and his quintet, playing on a small stage with Brisbane city lights at night behind him through the panoramic windows, the venue was just perfect. There were only about 60 people in the venue this evening, about half capacity of tables (more room for standing on sell-out nights I guess), the feeling was close and comfortable, without being being embarrassingly intimate. There was ample space for performers and audience. The front tables almost share the stage, but we were right at the back as we were late to arrive, but we were still close enough to hear every whisper… such a cool group.

Had a great Saturday afternoon/evening at the London Club. The Bar Manager was excellent with the cocktails and service. Other staff were friendly and helpful, despite a couple of obvious newbies. Atmosphere lovely, especially on the front terrace watching some of the very cool passing traffic. Finger food was well enjoyed by all and a later meal of rib fillet with the sweet potato mash and walnuts was absolutely perfect. Thanks for a great day out

The air conditions were off. A few guests went to the club staff to complain. They weren’t on until the end of the event. The staff at the bar whose only task was to serve lunch packs couldn’t have been less unfriendly.Pristine old architecture, 2 full sized pool/snooker tables. A very peaceful atmosphere for client lunches and coffee. An amazing wine selection

I have been here only once for the Whiskey Expo 2019. It was one of the worst places to hold such an otherwise joyful event. The air conditions were off. A few guests went to the club staff to complain. They weren’t on until the end of the event. The staff at the bar whose only task was to serve lunch packs couldn’t have been less unfriendly.

Good food and, as you would expect, attentive and friendly service. Pricey but probably also expected.

Went for a couple weddings. As always, an incredibly nice place with intimate setting and beautiful furniture.

My partner, bubs and I stumbled across The London Club whilst wandering along the Brisbane river late one Saturday morning. We had worked up an appetite and spied the restaurant from across the road, and what a treat awaited us. When you walk up to the deck area, it appears to be similar to any stylish cafe/restaurant in the area but upon further investigation and once you walk inside you are transported to a beautiful old-world library and dining room straight out of an Oscar Wilde novel. The decor is luxurious and tasteful and makes the experience all that more special. As we had master one with us, we settled on an outside table so as not to disturb other diners. The menu is simple yet delicious, with a good selection of share plates and lunch specials to choose from. I settled on the Chicken Poboy, my partner had the steak sandwich and we ordered some sweet potato fries for the small person, both the meals were generous and tasty as was the side of fries. All in all a great lunch and we’ll be back to try the dinner offerings soon.

Had the special Mud Crab on Friday night. Awesome! World class chef, best wine cellar in Brisbane and a barman who knows how to make a great Martini! And the house beer goes down well also.
