A beautiful spot with amazing ambience for a Sunday afternoon meal and drinks. Really tranquil and peaceful. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive without being too over-bearing. Wonderful.

What an absolute treasure in the hills this place is. We were on our way to the pub but decided to just drop in and check this place out. It’s gorgeous. Service was impeccable, and the cocktails prepared lovingly and were delicious! We just had some bread and olives since we were there between lunch and dinner, but we will come back for a meal.

Had a very lovely afternoon at here. The food and service was really spot on. The king prawn was cooked professionally and very tasty. No need to mention that the good vibe are also very enjoyable. Highly recommended and definitely will come back.

The staff here are some of the kindest people my husband and I have ever come across. The venue holds a special place in our hearts because we got married here but the staff are truly what make it. Greg the owner has been there twice when my husband and I have popped in and the way he welcomes us with such genuine kindness has meant so much to us. We stopped by for a drink on our anniversary during a day out in the hills and Greg overheard us chatting with one of the other staff members about our day and what brought us to the mill that day. Greg personally came and found us outside with the most beautiful bottle of champagne to wish us a happy anniversary. Beautiful venue. Beautiful people!

We had a fantastic Sunday celebrating a friend’s birthday over lunch. When we were first seated, the owner came over to greet us and pass on his best regards. The service was attentive and friendly with great recommendations for food and accompanying wine. Lovely lunch in a warm and cosy sunroom attached to the main building

We had the worst experience. We’ve been before and always loved it but it was a very different story this time. Very limited menu – and then they didn’t have the steak or fish on the menu which limited it even more. We ordered pork which was served cold and snapper bisque and pasta. There was no sauce on the pasta at all so it was bland and dry and there was no bisque with the snapper. The snapper was re-heated but clearly in a microwave because it came back dry and tough and the “crackle” had turned to rubber. The snapper was the worst – words can’t explain how bad it smelled. It apparently tasted worse. We are not people who complain, but it was so bad we had to. We very politely complained to the poor young waitress but really the manager or chef or maitre d should have come out and spoke to us. They did not. The wine was excellent and the waitress handled the situation very well but we would never go back there ever again. Extremely disappointing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, especially considering the prices. They did discount our meal slightly but given we ate nothing but a mouthful of each meal it was an expensive exercise.

We recently had lunch at Bridgewater Mill for my youngest son’s birthday. My other son has multiple severe allergies and the Chefs were fantastic at adapting his meals where necessary to suit his requirements. We had the feed me menu and honestly had so much food we couldn’t eat it all (I haven’t included photos of all dishes as I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a couple). The food was just delicious and the venue is stunning. We sat outside on a lovely autumn day and took In the stunning scenery. The service was fantastic and we couldn’t fault the wait staff. Definitely recommend!

We did the 4 course Chef Selection. The food was very tasty and well presented. To be honest, presentation was better than the taste, but the uniqueness of flavours made up for it. Overall, very filling and happy.
